About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory compliance, risk management, and internal control frameworks. The ideal candidate will ensure the organisation operates in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess business impact
- Conduct internal compliance audits and risk assessments
- Provide advisory support to business units on regulatory matters
- Oversee AML / KYC processes (if applicable)
- Manage regulatory reporting and liaison with authorities
- Deliver compliance training and awareness programmes
- Investigate compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions
- Strengthen governance and internal control frameworks
Requirements
- Degree in Law, Finance, Business, or related field
- 510 years of compliance or regulatory experience
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks
- Experience in risk management and internal controls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred
- Experience in Banking / FinTech / Financial Services
- Knowledge of AML, KYC, sanctions screening
- Professional certifications (ICA, CAMS, or equivalent)
- Experience dealing with regulators
