Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out transaction monitoring reviews to detect anomalous activity related to Money Laundering/Terrorist-Financing and other forms of financial crime
- Assist in preparation of reports and filings, such as Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) related to identified suspicious activity
- Performing gap analyses related to MAS guidelines pertaining to our business type and activities
- Conducting quality assurance reviews on existing operations, controls and overall work performed by relevant team members
- Drafting of company policies or procedural documents
- Assist in the review of first line of defence controls and provide enhancement opportunities for the Compliance team
- Review and update guidelines if required based on regulatory changes / developments
- Participate in compliance related initiatives
Job Requirements:
- Currently pursuing bachelor's degree program in a relevant field such as Finance, Business, or Economics
- Good teamwork skills along with the ability to work independently when needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication, presentation and language skills (English, Mandarin)
- Be able to continuously demonstrate a meticulous and consistent work attitude with a keenness to learn
- Possess good interpersonal skills to deal with relevant stakeholders within the company
- Basic knowledge of compliance related regulations, standards and key terms
- Good analytical skills and eye for detail
