Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out transaction monitoring reviews to detect anomalous activity related to Money Laundering/Terrorist-Financing and other forms of financial crime
  • Assist in preparation of reports and filings, such as Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) related to identified suspicious activity
  • Performing gap analyses related to MAS guidelines pertaining to our business type and activities
  • Conducting quality assurance reviews on existing operations, controls and overall work performed by relevant team members
  • Drafting of company policies or procedural documents
  • Assist in the review of first line of defence controls and provide enhancement opportunities for the Compliance team
  • Review and update guidelines if required based on regulatory changes / developments
  • Participate in compliance related initiatives

Job Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing bachelor's degree program in a relevant field such as Finance, Business, or Economics
  • Good teamwork skills along with the ability to work independently when needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication, presentation and language skills (English, Mandarin)
  • Be able to continuously demonstrate a meticulous and consistent work attitude with a keenness to learn
  • Possess good interpersonal skills to deal with relevant stakeholders within the company
  • Basic knowledge of compliance related regulations, standards and key terms
  • Good analytical skills and eye for detail
