We are looking for a dynamic and self-driven Compliance Generalist to work closely with our Head of Compliance and support the end-to-end compliance lifecycle. This role is hands-on and cross-functional, covering counterparty due diligence, on-chain analytics, screening, transaction monitoring, audit support, and regulatory compliance reviews.
You will play a critical role in building a strong compliance culture in a fast-growing digital asset firm.
What You Will Do
- Manage full counterparty onboarding and act as the single point of contact to resolve all onboarding-related queries.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and negotiate onboarding blockers; work with Technology to improve workflow and automation.
- Perform the full spectrum of KYC/AML duties, including ongoing due diligence checks and periodic reviews of existing clients.
- Conduct ongoing transaction monitoring, wallet screening, and on-chain analysis as part of AML/CTF controls.
- Partner with Technology, Trading, and other stakeholders to build scalable compliance tools and processes.
- Support regulatory filings, internal and external audits, and reporting of suspicious transactions.
- Assist with ad-hoc compliance tasks and contribute to strengthening the firm's overall risk and compliance framework.
Who Should Apply
We are looking for candidates who:
- 24 years of experience in a compliance, AML, or financial crime role within a financial institution; experience in Web3/digital assets is a strong advantage.
- Professional certifications such as CAMS or equivalent are a plus.
- Solid understanding of corporate structures, constitutional documents, and business documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in a second language is an advantage.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Self-motivated, curious, and proactive in learning new tools such as on-chain monitoring platforms.
- Willingness to deepen regulatory knowledge and understand requirements across local and global jurisdictions.
