Job Summary

As a Compliance Expert DIA APAC Country Support, you will lead the implementation of compliance programs across APAC, fostering integrity and sustainable growth. You will collaborate with local teams to drive risk management, training, and regulatory engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the implementation of compliance initiatives across APAC aligned with Group and Diagnostics Compliance Leadership Team strategies to ensure regulatory adherence and business sustainability
  • Provide high-quality compliance advice to commercial affiliates, identifying and managing key risks to support compliance assurance and enable sustainable operations
  • Support local Compliance Officers and business teams by actively participating in projects and designing training programs for country organizations and external partners to enhance compliance knowledge
  • Apply market-wide compliance rules interpretation and standardization to promote a unified One Roche compliance approach across APAC countries
  • Advise senior local leadership teams and coach compliance professionals to foster a culture of integrity, co-create stakeholder value, and enable continuous learning
  • Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory and industry bodies to raise ethical standards, promote regulatory convergence, and advance digital health readiness
  • Contribute proactively to the Divisional Compliance Network by driving innovative ways of working and cultivating an agility mindset for enhanced network integration

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • University Degree or MBA/Post Graduate qualification in Legal, Finance, Economics, Business, Administration, or Audit
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Audit, Compliance, Risk, or Finance, preferably with regional exposure and cross-cultural experience
  • Solid understanding of diagnostics, medtech, and healthcare industry market conditions and regional regulations
  • Proficiency in compliance management and willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time
