Compliance Consultant

Introduction

Curia Regis is a professional regulatory compliance services firm dedicated on assisting regulated financial institutions in Singapore with their initial and ongoing regulatory obligations under the MAS purview.

We are seeking a highly motivated, driven and results-oriented individual to join our growing dynamic team in Singapore.

The role is as follows:

1. You will be our Compliance Consultant based in Singapore at our office in Raffles Place.

2. You have existing experience of navigating complex regulatory compliance matters relating to Capital Markets AND Payment Services entities

3. You understand how to interpret regulatory provisions and provide effective compliance solutions based on your comprehensive knowledge of the market in Singapore

General Responsibilities

a) Regularly engage with regulated entities as clients of the Company, and provide regulatory advice on an ongoing basis

b) Work with a diverse, exciting and fun team

c) Innovating and coming up with novel, streamlined solutions to obtain compliance efficiency

d) Oversee the computation and population of MAS reports, including regulatory submissions and surveys

e) Maintain business relationships - with regulators and industry peers

f) Oversee regulatory license applications

f) Identify and address gaps in existing workflows and functions

g) Other ad-hoc duties as required.

Specific skillsets we are looking for are as follows:

a) At ease with regulatory correspondence, references and requirements

b) Extremely meticulous and has keen attention to detail

c) Is able to lead and manage a team

d) Adept at utilisation of MS Office and AI tools, and is able to manage and navigate large volumes of data

Additional attributes that would be a plus point:

a) Self-motivated and driven, resourceful, but also works well in a team environment

b) Genuine curiosity and keenness to learn and

c) Positive attitude

d) Ambitious

Any existing experience within regulatory compliance at a Fund Adminstrator/Licensed Fund Manager or having worked at a regulatory compliance consultancy is a significant plus.
