Our client, a leading global alternative asset manager, is seeking a dynamic compliance professional to join their Singapore team. The role reports to the Singapore Head of Compliance and focuses on Singapore regulatory matters, with additional support across Asia Pacific.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee CMSL regulatory obligations, prepare filings, and liaise with regulators.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance policies and monitor regulatory developments, including gap analyses.
- Review and supervise sales and distribution compliance across Asia, providing regional support as needed.
- Develop, implement, and test compliance programs, policies, procedures, and controls.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of legal or regulatory experience in a financial institution (legal, compliance, or internal audit)
- Qualified lawyer preferred
- Strong knowledge of MAS regulatory frameworks
- Excellent written and spoken English; business Mandarin desirable
