About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance & Business Assurance (Senior) Executive to join our team. The key accountability is to support the company's assurance and governance functions, including internal control reviews, policy compliance, and counterparty due diligence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and review of internal control processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate and review counterparty due diligence and AML/CFT questionnaires, including assessment of counterparties controls and risk profiles.
- Provide regular updates to Business units on new regulatory developments and changes and to assess and advise on the impact to existing business models
- Work with business units to ensure compliance with audit requirements, controls and policies
- Assist in the review and maintenance of governance documents, business policies, and operating procedures.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external counterparties to ensure timely completion of assurance and compliance activities.
- Provide legal support in new business initiatives and development of new products in contract management, record keeping, and coordination of legal documentation.
- Contribute to periodic internal reviews, management reporting, and process improvements to strengthen overall governance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in compliance or audit field, preferably with relevant exposure to financial industry of Singapore
- Good understanding of MAS AML/CFT principles
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proactive, meticulous, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge and proficiency in basic coding, AI adoption, and/or RPA are preferred and advantageous.
