About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Compliance Analyst to support the company's compliance and regulatory functions. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring the company's compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the company's compliance framework, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in conducting compliance reviews across onboarding, name screening, and other compliance activities.
- Perform compliance checks and support investigations relating to suspicious activities, escalations, and regulatory reporting.
- Assist in RFI (Request for Information) correspondence with stakeholders.
- Monitor and keep abreast of regulatory developments and compliance requirements applicable to the business.
- Assist in preparing compliance reports, presentations, and documentation for management review.
- Perform ad-hoc projects and assignments, as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 2 years of relevant experience in compliance, AML/CFT, audit, risk, or other regulatory-related functions.
- Familiarity with MAS regulations and compliance requirements will be advantageous.
- Basic understanding of AML/CFT controls such as onboarding requirements, transaction monitoring, trade surveillance, or name screening processes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Compliance-related certifications will be advantageous.
