(a MAS-licensed CMS holder permitted to carry out, inter alia, brokerage and custody services), MetaComp introduces its suite of services through CAMP (Client Assets Management Platform) which allow businesses to develop and scale their digital asset offerings through various products and/or services such as over-the-counter transactions, fiat payments, digital asset custody and prime brokerage.
Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Compliance Analyst (Payments) to support MetaComp's regulatory and financial crime compliance efforts across our fiat payment operations.
This is a junior role ideal for candidates starting their career in compliance, offering hands-on exposure to transaction monitoring, AML/CFT controls, and payment investigations within a regulated fintech and digital asset environment.
You will work closely with Compliance, Operations, and Product teams to ensure that all payment activities adhere to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor payment transactions for suspicious or unusual activity
Perform alert reviews and escalate potential AML/CFT risks
Investigate flagged transactions across fiat payment flows
Assist in onboarding checks, including KYC and customer due diligence (CDD)
Conduct periodic reviews and refresh of client profiles
Support enhanced due diligence (EDD) where required
Ensure payment transactions comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Support sanctions screening and name screening processes
Assist in identifying control gaps and process improvements
Support investigation of suspicious transactions and payment issues
Prepare clear and concise case notes and documentation
Assist in drafting internal reports and regulatory filings where required
Stay updated on relevant regulations (e.g. MAS guidelines, AML/CFT requirements)
Support audits, compliance reviews, and internal assessments
Work cross-functionally with Operations, Product, and Risk teams
