We are working with a leading global financial institution to identify a VP/Director-level Compliance professional to join its regional Compliance team in Singapore.
This is a senior, business-facing compliance advisory opportunity within the regional Compliance function of a leading global financial institution. The key focus is strong regulatory advisory capability and the ability to partner effectively with the business.
What you'll be doing
- Provide practical compliance and regulatory advice to senior stakeholders and business teams across Asia
- Advise on regulatory requirements covering Singapore, Hong Kong and other Asian jurisdictions
- Support new products, business initiatives and evolving regulatory requirements
- Provide advice on cross-border activities, client/product offerings, licensing and business conduct
- Review marketing and client-facing materials from a regulatory perspective
- Monitor regulatory developments and translate them into practical policies, procedures and controls
- Review and advise on trading and conduct-related matters, including market abuse, fair allocation, cross-trades and conflicts of interest
- Support regulatory inspections, audits, licensing matters and regulatory filings
- Participate in regional and global compliance projects
What we're looking for
- 10+ years of relevant Compliance experience
- Strong business-facing regulatory advisory experience is essential
- Candidates with relevant experience within the financial services sector are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore regulatory requirements; Hong Kong exposure would be advantageous
- Experience advising business stakeholders on complex regulatory and compliance matters
- Strong understanding of financial services products, business activities and regulatory risks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Degree in Law, Business, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
