Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Compensation & Benefits Manager to shape and drive reward strategies across Asia, with a key focus on Singapore and Malaysia. You will play a critical role in ensuring our compensation and benefits programs remain competitive, equitable and aligned with business and talent needs — leveraging market insights, analytics and data to influence reward decisions. Responsibilities

Compensation

  • Assist in the development, implementation, administration, and evaluation of programs, procedures, policies, and practices designed to provide for equitable and competitive employee compensation and experience.
  • Conduct market benchmarking and salary surveys to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry trends.
  • Support annual compensation processes including merit increases, promotions, market adjustments, and salary structure reviews.
  • Build trusted relationships with business leaders across Operations, Engineering and supporting functions to deliver people strategies that enable business performance
  • Complete job evaluations on new or reclassified roles, review benchmark market data, make recommendations for salary range and job classification, and update systems post approval.
  • Support the administration of incentive programs, variable bonus plans, retention programs, and recognition initiatives.
  • Support maintaining and updating compensation structures, job families, and salary ranges in Oracle.

Benefits Administration

  • Administer and communicate employee benefits programs including medical insurance, life insurance, wellness programs, and leave benefits.
  • Work with insurance broker and benefit providers to manage renewals, claims administration, employee communications, and vendor performance.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of benefits offerings and provide recommendations to improve employee value proposition while managing costs.
  • Support employee inquiries relating to compensation and benefits matters.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Provide technical, data preparation and modelling, and analytical support to a variety of compensation programs and tools, including, but not limited to, annual review process, short and long-term incentive plans, and other broad-based compensation and HR programs.
  • Analyze compensation trends, pay equity, turnover, retention, and workforce demographics to support business decision-making.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, HR leadership, and corporate stakeholders.

Compliance and Governance

  • Ensure compensation and benefits programs comply with applicable labour laws, regulations, and company policies across Asia.
  • Support internal and external audits related to compensation and benefits administration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Compensation & Benefits, Total Rewards, or a related HR function.
  • Regional experience supporting compensation and benefits programs across Singapore and Malaysia; broader Asia experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation principles, salary benchmarking, job evaluation methodologies, and benefits administration.
  • Experience administering variable bonus, incentive, and recognition programs.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis. Experience with Power BI preferred.
  • Experience enhancing and/or implementing compensation systems and reporting tools.
  • Experience with Human Capital Management (HCM) System (e.g., Workday, SAP, or Oracle) for data management, extraction, and reporting. Proficiency in Oracle Fusion HCM preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Experience partnering with leaders in a semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing or engineering environment is highly preferred.
