Job Description

Bless Community Services is a social service agency (IPC) set up to enable, enrich and empower individuals, families and communities through our holistic social care approaches.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our Senior and Community Connect team to help seniors pursuie productive ageing lifestyle and to engage in community outreach and welfare programmes and services.

Job Description:

1. Programme Coordinator for Senior Activities

  • Coordinate and oversee the weekly Senior SWEE! programme, including planning, execution, and evaluation of activities.
  • Develop and pilot new programmes and activities aligned with BCS's Model of Care, responding to emerging needs of seniors.
  • Lead outreach efforts to expand the geographical coverage, enabling BCS to reach and serve more seniors within the community.
  • Empower senior beneficiaries to become active and confident volunteers, making impact to the society.

2. Community Outreach

  • Coordinate Community Outreach programmes to identify, engage, and connect with individuals and families in need.
  • Follow up and coordinate outreach initiatives arising from Neighbourhood Visitations, ensuring appropriate support, referrals, and continuity of care.
  • Connect and liaise with a large pool of volunteers to meaningful engage in community outreach.

3. Community Pantry

  • Oversee the operations of The 3rd Stop Community Pantry (Food rescue and re-distribution to the needy), ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.
  • Grow and sustain the pantry through community partnerships, volunteer coordination, and resource stewardship to better serve beneficiaries.
  • Work with various volunteers to upkeep the running of the 3rd Stop Community Pantry.
