Job Summary
Join Iron Scholars as a Community Engagement Ambassador to represent our enrichment centre at roadshows and outreach events, connecting with families and encouraging trial sign-ups for our programmes.
Responsibilities [Short Hours Per Day!]
- Conduct weekly roadshows in heartland neighbourhoods and outside preschools in Aljunied, Kallang, Eunos, and Bedok to promote Iron Scholars programmes
- Engage parents warmly to introduce programmes and respond to their questions effectively
- Interact with children in a friendly and approachable manner to generate interest in learning
- Distribute flyers and share information to encourage parents to sign up for trial lessons
- Represent Iron Scholars professionally and enthusiastically at all outreach events
- Commit to scheduled shifts including weekends (Sat & Sun, 10am-2pm) and three weekday evenings (5pm-7pm) at various preschool locations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Outgoing personality with strong communication skills to engage diverse audiences
- Comfortable speaking to parents and engaging children in informal educational settings
- Reliable and punctual with the ability to commit to scheduled hours
- Passionate about education and community outreach
- Prior experience in events, sales, or promotions is advantageous but not required
