Roles and Responsibilities
a. Programme & Activity Support
. Monitor and record client health status (vital signs, height, weight, BMI) under supervision.
. Encourage and facilitate client participation in structured group activities.
. Assist in implementing programmes and activities, including those with external partners.
. Help plan and conduct social activities to promote engagement and well-being.
. Perform stock checking, inventory, and housekeeping duties for programme materials.
. Perform basic documentation and programme records.
b. Engagement with Clients
. Engage seniors warmly and respectfully, encouraging participation in centre activities.
. Support seniors during activities, including those with mobility or mild cognitive challenges.
. Escalate concerns, incidents, or behavioural issues to the Community Care Executive or Community Care Lead promptly.
c. Centre Operations Management
. Maintain certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED (or be willing to obtain).
. Comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) procedures and support emergency preparedness.
. Adhere to organisational SOPs and incident reporting protocols.
. Assist during emergencies as directed by trained staff.
d. Volunteer Management
. Assist volunteers during programme delivery.
. Provide logistical and administrative support for volunteer activities.
e. Personal Career Development
. Takes initiative and ownership of personal growth, identifying agenda during supervision sessions and courses of interest relating to scope of work to attend.
f. Other Duties
. Perform any other responsibilities assigned by Management and Head of Department (HOD)
