Communications Specialist

Our client is seeking a communications professional to join their team on a one-year contract. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with subject matter experts and senior leaders to deliver clear, engaging communications that strengthen organizational visibility and support key initiatives. The successful candidate will work as part of the communications function and contribute to a broad range of internal and external communication activities.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and delivering communication initiatives that support organizational priorities.
• Prepare communication materials such as announcements, feature articles, briefing notes, leadership messages, and other written content for external audiences.
• Develop presentation materials, speeches, talking points, and briefing documents for senior leaders.
• Support internal communication initiatives that keep employees informed and engaged.
• Contribute content for digital platforms, newsletters, publications, and other communication channels.
• Support the production of annual publications and corporate reports.
• Help coordinate conferences, briefings, outreach programs, and stakeholder events.

Requirements:

• Degree qualified with at least 6-8 years of experience in communications, journalism or media relations
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex topics in a clear and engaging manner
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact positively and professionally at all levels
