The Communications Executive supports ISCA's branding and communications efforts through the planning, writing and execution of high-quality editorial content. This role focuses on producing clear, engaging and well-structured written communications, particularly bulletins and newsletters, to support stakeholder engagement and internal alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
Newsletter & Editorial Content Management
- Support the planning, development and delivery of ISCA's newsletters, bulletins and Annual Report
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across departments to gather, synthesise and shape content into clear, coherent narratives aligned with organisational priorities
- Draft, edit and refine written content to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency and audience relevance
- Translate complex, technical or policy-driven information into accessible, reader-friendly communications for diverse audiences
- Maintain high editorial standards across all publications, ensuring consistency in tone, messaging and style
- Be accountable for the overall quality, timeliness and editorial integrity of assigned communications content
Branding & Corporate Communications
- Support the development of communication materials that reinforce and strengthen ISCA's brand positioning across platforms and touchpoints
- Ensure all editorial and written communications adhere to ISCA's brand, tone-of-voice and corporate communication guidelines
- Collaborate with the branding, design and marketing teams to ensure content and visuals are aligned and mutually reinforcing
- Support branding and communications initiatives across events, campaigns, strategic programmes and corporate publications
- Contribute to maintaining a consistent and professional organisational voice across internal and external communications
Requirements:
- Diploma or above in Communications, Media, Journalism or related disciplines fresh graduates with strong media skills are welcome.
- Good understanding of branding, messaging, and communications strategies
- Ability to work effectively under pressure with tight deadlines
- Excellent written communication, copyediting skills
- Highly organised and detail-oriented
- Proficiency in English and ability to write in Chinese would be advantageous, as the role involves editorial work in the Chinese language
- Proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge and experience in the use of Canva, Adobe Suite, Adobe Premiere Pro, would be advantageous
