Role Purpose
The Communications Executive is responsible for developing and managing Limitless's communication channels to strengthen brand visibility, engage stakeholders and support fundraising and programme objectives. This role oversees all social media platforms, key publications, and marketing outputs to ensure clear, consistent and compelling messaging around youth mental health.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media & Digital Content
- Conceptualise, plan, and manage content calendars for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Produce engaging content (reels, posts, stories, videos, infographics) tailored for youth, donors, and corporate audiences.
- Monitor engagement, track analytics, and optimise performance.
- Engage actively with audiences through timely responses to comments and messages.
2. Publications & Collateral
- Lead production of the Annual Report (content, layout, coordination with designers, publication).
- Coordinate and publish the quarterly e-newsletter to donors, partners, and supporters.
- Support design and copy for fundraising materials (impact reports, campaign decks, brochures, corporate presentations).
- Ensure consistency with organisational brand and messaging guidelines.
3. Campaign & Event Communications
- Partner with Fundraising and Programmes teams to design and deliver communications for campaigns (#StayAlive, Move for Hope, quarterly fundraisers).
- Manage communications for events (press kits, event invites, banners, social media coverage).
- Provide post-event highlights and impact storytelling to enhance donor and public engagement.
4. Media & Public Relations
- Draft press releases and maintain updated media contacts.
- Pitch stories to media outlets and support interviews with ED, Head, or youth representatives.
- Manage incoming media requests and coordinate timely responses.
5. Website & Digital Presence
- Oversee website updates and ensure accuracy of information.
- Work with design/IT teams on improvements (e.g., donation landing pages, campaign microsites).
- Explore emerging channels to expand digital footprint.
6. Analytics & Reporting
- Track performance of social, email, website, and media engagement.
- Submit monthly communications reports with data-driven insights.
- Recommend strategies for continuous improvement.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Social Media Growth: Minimum 30% increase in reach and engagement year-on-year.
- Publications: Annual Report delivered by May 4 e-newsletters delivered on time.
- Campaign Support: 100% comms deliverables executed on schedule.
- Media Coverage: Minimum 3 positive media mentions annually.
- Brand Consistency: All outputs aligned with brand and messaging guidelines.
Skills & Attributes
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Familiarity with digital marketing, analytics, and social media trends.
- Proficient in Canva, Adobe Suite, or equivalent design tools basic video editing an advantage.
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail.
- Creative, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Passionate about youth empowerment and mental health advocacy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree/diploma in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
- 1-3 years relevant experience in communications, social media, or digital marketing.
- Experience in nonprofit/charity or youth-focused communications an advantage.
