Job Description

The Singapore International Foundation (SIF) is a non-profit organisation that connects communities worldwide and convenes global expertise to drive change for a better world. The Strategic Operations Division oversees the Foundation's core corporate functions, including corporate planning, communications and engagement, financial governance, human resources and office management, as well as IT support.

The Communications & Engagement team provides specialist services in corporate communications, marketing, and stakeholder stewardship. The Corporate Communications team comprises strategic communications specialists who promote the work of the SIF and strengthen collaboration among communities by facilitating the exchange of ideas, skills, resources, and experiences to create positive social impact.

Responsibilities:

As part of the Singapore International Foundation's Communications team, the intern will support the creation and execution of marketing and communication initiatives that connect global communities through collaboration and storytelling. The role focuses on creative content ideation, design, video editing, and copywritinghelping the team produce fresh, engaging, and brand-aligned materials for SIF's digital platforms.

Creative Ideation

  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns across SIF's owned channels.
  • Contribute to content enhancements by sharing creative insights and suggesting improvements.
  • Research and generate creative content ideas based on current digital, social media, and design trends.
  • Brainstorm and pitch engaging concepts that align with SIF's brand voice and communication goals.

Content Development

  • Develop visual and video assets using tools such as Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Express to support ongoing campaigns.
  • Assist in producing content for social media, EDMs, and marketing materials that resonate with diverse audiences.

Copywriting & Editorial Assistance

  • Draft short-form copy for social media, web, and EDMs in alignment with SIF's tone and messaging.
  • Support proofreading, caption writing, and message refinement for digital content.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Communications team to ensure creative consistency across campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-organisational teams to gather visuals, stories, and updates for content production.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate in Communications, Marketing, Design, or related fields.
  • Minimum commitment of three months for meaningful experience.
  • Creative thinker with strong visual storytelling instincts and attention to detail.
  • Familiar with Canva, CapCut, or similar design/video tools.
  • Curious about social media and digital trends, with a flair for ideation and writing.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn within a collaborative team.
  • Singaporean.
