Job Description

What The Role Is

Under the internship programme, you will be attached to the East Zone People, Programme, and Partnership 3 team. This placement will provide you with the opportunity to gain insights into car park operations and the various issues and challenges encountered.

What You Will Be Working On

During the internship, you will be tasked with developing a marketing campaign and communications package to encourage motorists to sign up for the Parking @ HDB app at Old Airport Rd Car Park and creating communications design to enhance the overall user experience through the redesigning of traffic flow at Geylang Serai Market Car Park.

Project Deliverables

  • Market Research and User Analysis Report: Conduct assessment of current Parking @ HDB app adoption rates, user behaviour patterns, and barriers to sign-up amongst motorists at Old Airport Road car park.
  • Marketing Campaign Strategy: Develop a comprehensive marketing campaign strategy with target audience segmentation, key messaging, and multi-channel promotional approach to drive Parking @ HDB app adoption.
  • Creative Communications Package: Design and produce marketing materials including posters, digital displays, brochures, and social media content to promote the Parking @ HDB app and smart parking features.
  • Traffic Flow Communications Design: Create clear and intuitive wayfinding signage, directional graphics, and visual communications to improve traffic flow and enhance user navigation within the car park facility.
  • Implementation Plan and Timeline: Present a detailed implementation proposal outlining campaign rollout phases, resource requirements, budget considerations, and success metrics for measuring campaign effectiveness.
  • Campaign Performance Framework: Develop monitoring and evaluation methods to track app sign-up rates, user engagement, and overall campaign impact.

You will collaborate closely with the car park team, marketing specialists, and relevant stakeholders to gather insights, validate creative concepts, and develop effective communications solutions. This project will provide you with valuable hands-on experience in marketing campaign development, communications design, user experience enhancement, and digital engagement strategies within the context of smart parking initiatives.
