Job Scope:
Content and Communications
- Review, edit, and proofread marketing materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all communications.
- Maintain and update website content to reflect current programmes and initiatives.
- Check copy for various platforms and audiences whilst adhering to brand guidelines and organisational standards.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a primary liaison with arts, heritage, and community partners, maintaining regular communication and fostering collaborative relationships.
- Coordinate meetings, correspondence, and project updates with external stakeholders.
- Support the development and maintenance of partner databases and communication channels.
Event Support and Coordination
- Provide comprehensive administrative, organisational, and logistical support for outreach events and programmes.
- Assist with event planning, vendor coordination, and on-site management.
- Handle registration processes, attendee communications, and post-event follow-up activities.
Administrative Excellence
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all engagement activities.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials as required.
- Support budget tracking and resource allocation for various projects and initiatives whilst ensuring compliance with organisational procedures.
Requirements:
- Interest in Arts Management, Communications, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Experience in proof reading, content loading, administrative support, or programme coordination is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders in a professional and collaborative manner.
- Strong collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive working environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with digital communication platforms.
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Working Hours: Mon to Thurs: 8.30am to 6pm, Friday: 8.30am to 5.30pm
Contract Period: 3 months (Possibility of extension)
Salary: $2800-$3100/month
