About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Communications Executive to support AKC's internal and external communications across corporate messaging, brand communications, and stakeholder engagement. This role will be responsible for developing communication materials, supporting public-facing content, and helping maintain a clear, professional, and consistent brand image across different platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement communication materials for internal and external use
- Support the company's brand image and public communications efforts
- Prepare press releases, corporate write-ups, media materials, and presentations
- Work closely with management to align communications with business goals and target audiences
- Assist in drafting messaging for campaigns, announcements, and company updates
- Coordinate communication-related projects and support stakeholder engagement efforts
- Monitor industry trends, media mentions, and relevant developments
- Handle communication enquiries and support response coordination where needed
- Prepare briefing materials and presentation content for leadership
Preferred Competencies and Qualifications
- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational and project coordination abilities
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in messaging
- Experience in communications, content, public relations, or a related area is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and presentation preparation
