Job Summary
Lead strategic procurement activities for key agricultural commodities, driving supplier negotiations, contract execution, and logistics management to support international trade operations and enhance risk management processes.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement strategic procurement for barley, wheat, sorghum, corn, soybean meal, sunflower meal, and DDGS to meet business objectives
- Negotiate trade contract terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Monitor execution of trade contracts and oversee import and export operational cycles to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Manage business operations and participate in logistics monitoring to optimize supply chain performance
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to streamline processes and enhance operational workflows
- Develop and improve risk control policies and risk management processes to safeguard business interests
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree is preferable
- Experience in agricultural commodities trading or fresh graduates with a major in international trade
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Strong knowledge and insights into the agricultural industry's supply and demand dynamics
- Strong logical and analytical skills applied to procurement and trade activities
- Meticulous, proactive, and positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Alignment with company culture, teamwork spirit, and professionalism
- Ability to travel as required
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin
