Our client is an established international engineering business specializing in advanced cooling and climate control solutions for critical environments.
This role is responsible for leading and executing commissioning activities across multiple projects, ensuring systems are tested, validated, and handed over in line with required specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. The position plays an important part in bridging project delivery and operational readiness, particularly in mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of commissioning activities across assigned projects from execution through completion.
- Oversee the commissioning lifecycle, including start-up, design review, construction support, system verification, testing, acceptance, and final operational handover.
- Review project designs and site execution to confirm compliance with technical requirements, standards, and deadlines.
- Coordinate and manage commissioning parties, contractors, and suppliers, while addressing and resolving site-related issues.
- Provide direction during project closeout to ensure a smooth transition into operations.
- Prepare and submit complete commissioning documentation and reports for each project.
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Around 3 years of relevant experience in commissioning management or design/project delivery, ideally within data center or similar critical facility environments.
- Familiarity with data center environments, mission-critical design principles, safety requirements, and applicable industry standards.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across different functions and project parties.
- Solid technical and practical knowledge of mechanical and electrical building systems that support critical facilities operations.
