Commis / Demi Chef de Partie
Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation and cooking of food to the restaurant specific standards
Assist in basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and measuring ingredients.
Assist in maintaining stock control and minimizing waste.
Ensure timely and efficient service to maintain the flow of the kitchen.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in and around all culinary work areas
Always maintain a professional and positive attitude towards team members and supervisors.
Other ad-hoc duties as requested.
Requirements:
Excellent attitude and very hardworking
Very passionate about food
Attentive to details and meticulous to ensure smooth operations with minimal errors
Good interpersonal skills so as to build good working relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
