Perform basic food preparation, cooking, and service tasks as assigned, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation at all times.
Prepare appetizers, meats, vegetables, and other ingredients for la carte and buffet service, while assisting with the proper plating and presentation of dishes.
Assist in the preparation and execution of orders.
Observe, taste, and monitor food during preparation and cooking to ensure quality standards are met sample food as required.
Operate cooking equipment safely and efficiently, including controlling temperatures and preparing simple hot food items.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and tools are properly handled, cleaned, and maintained.
Assist senior chefs with opening and closing kitchen operations, including food storage, stock organization, and end-of-day procedures.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to support smooth daily operations and deliver an excellent dining experience for guests.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food presentation.
Knowledge of food sanitation and hygiene practices.
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment and manage multiple tasks during peak service periods.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
