Key Responsibilities:
Assist Head and Sous Chefs to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations.
Prepare, portion, and present dishes according to recipes and standards.
Maintain awareness of all menu items, recipes, and presentation methods.
Check and ensure sufficient ingredients, equipment, and supplies for daily operations.
Store all food properly and handle ingredients safely.
Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.
Assist with equipment maintenance and regular cleaning.
Support inventory counts and record food wastage.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver consistent, high-quality food.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Basic Food Hygiene Certification
Prior kitchen experience is an advantage.
Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude, coachable, and eager to learn.
