  • This role will be based in Personal Systems Singapore Development Center, reporting to the Senior R&D Director.
  • System Global R&D team, this center will focus on Personal Systems solutions and products development, NPI and Sustaining.

Job Summary

This role provides essential administrative support to the engineering R&D organization, managing schedules, travel, records, procurement and communications.

This role also ensures efficient operations, coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, and handles both routine and special assignments with professionalism and discretion.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performing general administrative support tasks involved in supporting the engineering R&D organization.
  • Responsibilities include administrative tasks associated with the support of employees, with various administrative support tasks.
  • These tasks may include, but are not limited to: general administrative tasks such as managing calendar, appointments, assisting with assistant/senior and new cost center(s) budget(s), scheduling shipping arrangements, preparing and submitting expense reports, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Responsible for maintaining records and files, distributing mail, preparing reports, word processing, scheduling meetings, greeting/escorting visitors, assisting with other departments, and other established general administrative tasks.
  • Responsible for supporting the work unit, and with other work units/departments, both internal and external to the company.
  • May be required to coordinate and work with other departments or more professional employees on special assignments.
  • The nature of the work is generally considered general administrative in nature, as opposed to technical. Assignments are typically routine, but may be related to a specialty function, such as finance, purchasing, or human resources.

  • Excellent English ability
  • Professionalism and maturity
  • Experience in providing administrative/secretarial assistance experience to senior leaders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently as well as lead by the work unit/department
  • Discretion and confidentiality
