Technical & Engineering
- Provide engineering support.
- Review contracts, technical specifications, and equipment requirements to ensure alignment with design obligations.
- Prepare drawing schedules and coordinate technical meetings with clients, classification societies, designers, vendors, and system integrators.
- Interpret classification rules and maritime regulations, with the ability to read and analyze technical design drawings.
- Work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
Business Development & Commercial Support
- Assist in preparing proposals, pre-qualification documents (PQs), expressions of interest (EOIs), and tender submissions for offshore support services.
- Coordinate with internal departments (technical, crewing, HSEQ) to gather inputs for commercial submissions.
- Maintain a central repository of commercial templates, vessel brochures, past bids, and technical specifications.
- Track ongoing tenders, submission deadlines, clarifications, and outcomes.
Contracts Management
- Maintain a contracts and charter database including validity, renewal dates, KPIs, and deliverables.
- Monitor key obligations under client contracts and escalate compliance issues or commercial risks.
- Assist in preparing documentation for contract variations, renewals, and performance reporting.
Procurement & Logistics
- Support in preparing and processing requisitions for spares, stores, and services.
- Liaise with the purchasing team and vessel staff to monitor delivery status and arrange shipments.
- Act as a communication bridge between the ship and shore technical teams.
Market & Client Engagement
- Conduct basic market research on identified projects and competitor positioning.
- Support client presentations, meeting coordination, and follow-ups.
- Prepare vessel capability profiles and custom presentations for potential clients.
- Maintain trackers of client interactions, sales pipeline, and business opportunities.
- Schedule meetings, prepare minutes, and assist in follow-up actions.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain organised records of all commercial correspondence and submissions.
- Assist in preparing periodic reports for internal management, including win/loss analysis, vessel utilisation trends, and tender pipeline updates.
- Support the digitalisation and formatting of commercial documentation in line with branding guidelines.
- Maintain and update vessel technical records, certificates, and class/statutory documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Maritime Studies or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in ship management or maritime operations preferred.
- Fresh graduates with a strong interest and internship experiences in maritime technical work may be considered.
- Familiarity with offshore support vessels (AHTS, PSV, DSV, etc.) is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word Project, PowerPoint).
- Good understanding of commercial processes and documentation in offshore services.
- Ability to comprehend technical specifications and engage in technical discussions with clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and seafarers
- Organised, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Team player with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
Working Conditions
- Office-based role with occasional travel for client meetings, industry events, or vessel visits as required.
- May involve support outside regular hours during major tender deadlines or mobilisation activities.
