Job Description

Position Title:

Commercial Manager

Reporting Line:

Reports to the Chief Executive Officer

Role Overview:

The Commercial Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and revenue performance within the assigned territory. This role focuses on direct-to-retail sales expansion, key account development, and execution of the Company's commercial strategy, while ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales& Revenue Growth

- Lead and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets within the assigned territory.

- Drive sales primarily through direct-to-retail channels and key customer accounts.

- Identify, develop, and secure new retail partners and commercial opportunities.

- Manage pricing, promotions, and commercial negotiations in line with Company guidelines.

Channel& Account Management

- Develop and manage approved sales channels in accordance with the Company's commercial strategy.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers and strategic partners.

- Evaluate the use of distributors where direct sales are not commercially feasible and provide recommendations to management.

Market Development & Execution

- Execute go-to-market plans and sales initiatives to support product launches and market expansion.

- Monitor customer performance, sell-through data, and sales trends to optimize results.

- Work closely with internal teams to ensure effective execution of sales programs.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

- Track market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer behavior.

- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management.

- Provide actionable insights to support commercial decision-making.

Budget& Performance Management

- Manage assigned sales budgets responsibly.

- Monitor performance against targets and recommend corrective actions where necessary.

Compliance& Representation

- Ensure all sales activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies.

- Represent the Company professionally in all commercial and sales engagements.

Requirements& Qualifications:

- Minimum polytechnic diploma in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

- Minimum 7 years of experience in sales, commercial, or business development roles.

- Proven track record in driving sales growth and managing key retail accounts.

- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

-Commercially driven, results-oriented, and self-motivated.

- Experience in regional or international markets is an advantage.
