Commercial Lawyer, 5-10PQE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join a high-performing legal team.

The role is designed for a lawyer with experience in retail, e-commerce, or technology, and a strong track record supporting complex commercial, transactional, and employment-related matters.


The successful candidate will bring solid corporate commercial experience, paired with a practical, hands-on approach to legal problem-solving. You will advise on a broad range of commercial and employment issues, working closely with internal stakeholders on business-critical initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Beyond technical capability, this role places a strong emphasis on emotional intelligence and collaboration. The ideal candidate is someone who communicates clearly, builds trusted relationships across functions, and is comfortable navigating ambiguity while managing multiple priorities. You should be proactive, well-organised, and able to balance commercial pragmatism with legal rigour.

Key Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with 5-10PQE in corporate/commercial law, gained with an international practice or multinational corporation.
  • Experience in the retail, e-commerce, or technology sectors a plus
  • Strong grounding in commercial contracts, employment law, IP, data protection, and e-commerce regulations
  • Proven experience negotiating and drafting complex agreements, including B2C contracts and employment-related documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver clear, commercially focused advice to non-legal teams
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative mindset, and high emotional intelligence
  • Must hold a valid work visa in Singapore
