Commercial Finance Manager (1 Year Contract)

The Company

Our client, an MNC in the FMCG industry, is looking to hire a Commercial Finance Manager on a 1 year contract.

The Role


This role acts as a key commercial finance business partner to the Commercial, Marketing, and Trade Marketing teams in Singapore, driving pricing, profitability, and business performance across channels. You will collaborate closely with regional teams to implement pricing in line with Global/APAC guidelines, conduct value chain and pricing analysis, and support annual pricing reviews, benchmarking, and new business case simulations. The role partners commercial teams on promotional planning, ROI evaluation, trade investment optimisation, sales mix improvement, and margin enhancement, while ensuring compliance through contract reviews, credit management, and robust controls. Responsibilities also include month‑end closing, revenue recognition, forecasting, budgeting, long‑term strategic planning, ERP (SAP/V2V) pricing and rebate setup, performance reporting, and continuous process improvement to strengthen financial discipline and support sustainable growth.

Your Profile


The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting with relevant industry experience, bring strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand business performance beyond the numbers. You have proven experience influencing and managing cross‑functional stakeholders across geographies, building profit‑focused partnerships, and working collaboratively across commercial functions.

The role requires advanced Excel skills, exposure to ERP and management reporting systems, and strong capabilities in financial modelling, value chain analysis, and producing clear, insightful business performance reports. You are proactive, detail‑oriented, and deadline‑driven, with strong planning, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills. A collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills, cultural sensitivity, agility, and a strong drive for results are essential.
