About The Role

Location: Pasir Panjang Road, Singapore

Department: Finance

Reports to: Head of Commercial Finance & Transformation

As a member of the Finance team, the Commercial Finance Executive will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to provide financial insights, support strategic decision-making, and drive business performance. This role plays a key part in New Product Commercialization, evaluating revenue opportunities, supporting pricing strategies, and improving overall profitability. You will also contribute to business planning, performance tracking, and commercial evaluation to support the Singapore business.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to provide financial insights that support business decisions
  • Support financial analysis discussions aligned with business strategies, providing data-driven recommendations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate commercial initiatives and drive performance improvements
  • Prepare value chain analysis and financial justifications for new product launches, commercial initiatives, and contract negotiations
  • Build and maintain financial models to evaluate proposals, tenders, and business cases
  • Analyze revenue, pricing, and cost structures to identify opportunities for margin optimization
  • Evaluate trade promotions, discounts, and rebates to assess ROI and effectiveness
  • Support customer and channel profitability analysis, including Channel P&L reviews
  • Maintain and track key financial benchmarks (e.g. brand, pack, and channel profitability)
  • Support business planning processes, including forecasting and long-range planning models
  • Prepare reports and presentations for business reviews and performance tracking
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data used in decision-making
  • Support automation and standardization of reporting processes to improve efficiency
  • Continuously identify opportunities to streamline financial analysis and reporting workflows

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Ideally 2–4 years of relevant experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or financial analysis (FMCG experience is an advantage)
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Good understanding of P&L, pricing strategies, and business performance drivers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability
  • Available to commit for 9 months contract duration
  • Preferably a candidate with immediate availability
