Job Summary

This role leads the market commercial finance function, partnering with business leaders to drive revenue growth, margin performance and financial discipline. The role manages the commercial finance team and ensures strong financial governance across client engagements, including oversight of commercial and financial contractual compliance, client audit readiness and robust financial controls. It also oversees client profitability reviews and reporting for key clients to support commercial decision-making and margin improvement.

Job Description

• Lead the market commercial finance function, partnering with business leaders to drive revenue growth, profitability and margin performance.
• Manage and develop the commercial finance team, ensuring strong financial governance and the delivery of high-quality financial insights to support business decision-making.
• Partner with business leadership to review financial plans, budgets and forecasts, providing guidance to support the achievement of revenue and margin targets.
• Provide commercial and analytical support for client and vendor negotiations, including pricing structures, commercial terms and profitability considerations.
• Analyse financial performance and client profitability, including regular profitability reviews for key clients, to identify opportunities for operational improvement and margin enhancement.
• Ensure strong financial governance across client engagements, including oversight of commercial and financial contractual compliance, commercial risk management and readiness for client audits.
• Work closely with business leaders to understand short- and long-term resource requirements and their impact on financial planning and operational delivery.
• Act as a key commercial finance partner to senior business leadership, providing strategic financial insight to support market growth and profitability.
• Provide commercial oversight for major client engagements, ensuring pricing discipline, contractual compliance and financial risk management.
• Collaborate with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to drive commercial discipline, operational improvements and sustainable financial performance across the market.
• Drive the adoption of best-practice financial planning, reporting and commercial governance to improve the quality, consistency and transparency of financial information.
• Help build and foster a strong finance team culture within the Singapore market, supporting team development, collaboration and continuous improvement.
