Commercial Finance Business Partner

A well-established organisation in the logistics sector is seeking a commercially minded finance professional to join its regional finance team. This role combines financial planning, business partnering, and commercial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly management reporting and support financial planning and analysis activities.

• Partner with senior finance leadership on strategic planning, quarterly budgeting, and forecasting processes.

• Provide financial insights and analysis to help leadership understand business performance and identify improvement opportunities.

• Contribute to business decisions by linking financial results with operational and strategic outcomes.

• Support projects related to governance, compliance, process improvement, system integration, and data automation.

• Analyse market and internal data to provide insights that support commercial teams and strategic initiatives.

• Participate in key business review meetings with commercial teams to discuss performance trends, risks, and opportunities.

• Use analytics tools and BI platforms to transform financial data into actionable insights that support commercial strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline.

• Approximately 6-8 years of accounting and finance experience, ideally with exposure to supply chain or logistics environments.

• Strong foundation in financial reporting, FP&A, and commercial finance partnering.

• Ability to translate financial and market data into strategic insights for business leaders.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge and influence decisions.

• Comfortable using analytical tools, dashboards, and data visualisation platforms to interpret financial information.
