Job Overview

Lead Commercial Finance for the Media Service Line, serving as the primary finance partner to business leadership and owning the finance performance, financial governance and profitability of assigned brands.

The role provides financial leadership across business partnering, commercial decision support, financial planning and governance to support growth and performance.

Key Responsibilities

P&L Ownership

• Own the end – to – end financial performance of assigned brands / divisions, including Revenue, Gross Margin, Staff Costs, OPEX and Profitability.
• Partner with brands leadership to drive business performance and financial outcomes.
• Lead financial reviews and reporting, providing insights on risks, opportunities and performance drivers.

Commercial Finance & Business Partnering

• Support pricing, contract reviews and client profitability
• Evaluate new business opportunities, investments and strategic initiatives through financial modelling and scenario analysis.
• Monitor and track revenue, profitability and commercial performance across multiple clients and portfolios.
• Lead client related commercial finance matters and activities.

Financial Planning

• Lead forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Work with Brand Leaderships on margin performance and cost efficiency.

Financial Governance & Risk Management

• Oversight of overall financial governance across the Media Service Line.
• Ensure appropriate consideration of revenue recognition, cost allocation, contractual, tax and compliance requirements.
• Identify and mitigate financial and commercial risk impacting profitability and performance.

Team Leadership

• Lead and develop the supporting Finance Analyst.
• Promote consistency in Commercial Finance processes, governance and deliverables.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Professional Certification in Accounting.
• Experienced in budgeting, forecasting, P&L analysis, and variance reporting for multiple entities or divisions.
• Experienced in working with large client - based portfolios and tracking revenue and profitability across multiple entities or divisions, and with multiple stakeholders.
• Finance Operations or Audit experiences
• Stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel; experience with reporting and analytics tools is an advantage.
