Role Summary
The Commercial Director will spearhead Capio International's hardware distribution business, driving revenue growth through a robust channel and partner ecosystem. This is a hands-on leadership role-balancing strategic vision with execution-in a fast-moving SME environment. You'll build scalable distribution systems, deepen vendor and partner relationships, and lead a high-performing sales team to success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Commercial Strategy & Distribution Growth
Develop and execute a unified commercial strategy specifically for Capio's enterprise hardware distribution business.
Identify high-value distribution channels, refine go-to-market strategies, and position Capio as a leading hardware provider in Singapore and overseas markets.
Drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships with distributors, resellers, and system integrators.
Ensure strong commercial governance, performance tracking, and cross-functional alignment with logistics and procurement.
2. Channel Sales Leadership & Execution
Optimize the end-to-end channel sales process-partner onboarding, pipeline management, KPIs, and conversion-to maximize market penetration.
Lead, mentor, and scale the sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and partner-centric selling.
Strengthen relationships with key distribution partners, vendors, and enterprise clients to drive long-term growth.
3. Vendor & Product Strategy
Oversee the product portfolio, ensuring a competitive mix of enterprise hardware (servers, storage, networking, etc.) meets evolving market demands.
Champion voice-of-customer (VOC) insights to refine offerings and enhance competitive differentiation.
Collaborate with vendors on joint GTM initiatives and marketing programs.
4. Marketing & Demand Generation
Lead digital marketing, branding, and lead-generation strategies specifically tailored to the distribution channel.
Elevate Capio's brand authority as a trusted enterprise hardware partner.
Develop sales enablement tools, targeted campaigns, and content strategies to accelerate partner deal closures.
5. Team & Culture Development
Build and inspire a high-performance commercial team-fostering collaboration, continuous learning, and a results-driven culture.
Embed commercial thinking across the organization, ensuring alignment between sales, logistics, and procurement.
Promote a customer-centric, agile mindset while balancing autonomy and accountability.
Ideal Candidate Profile
10+ years in commercial leadership, with significant experience in IT hardware distribution, channel sales, or vendor management.
Proven success in scaling revenue through channel partnerships and expanding market reach.
Strong expertise in distribution strategy, partner relationship management, and sales process optimization.
Exceptional analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
