Reporting to senior leadership, the Commercial Director will drive revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability across all commercial channels. The role provides leadership across sales performance, key accounts, pricing strategy, and partnerships.
About the Role
- Define and execute the overall commercial strategy across all channels, driving revenue growth and margin optimisation.
- Lead and develop sales across wholesale, corporate/B2B, private clients, and HORECA segments.
- Set sales targets, KPIs, and performance frameworks, monitoring results and driving corrective actions where needed.
- Build and manage key client and partner relationships, including leading negotiations with major accounts.
- Shape portfolio and pricing strategies in collaboration with internal teams, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
- Lead, coach, and develop the commercial team, fostering a high-performance and results-driven culture.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to drive data-informed commercial decisions.
About You
- Degree in Business or related field with strong commercial leadership experience in the wine or beverage industry across HORECA, wholesale, and B2B channels.
- Proven track record in driving revenue growth and managing key accounts.
- Strong commercial acumen across pricing, margins, and portfolio management.
- Effective leader with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- WSET or equivalent certification is advantageous.
