With the right commercial and technology contracting support, global organisations can manage vendor risk effectively while implementing large-scale operational and regulatory initiatives. This opportunity sits within the MNC bank's Commercial Legal team supporting Supply Chain Management on key strategic projects.

They are seeking a Corporate Commercial Lawyer to provide backfill BAU coverage and assist with related initiatives. This role is well-suited to a commercially focused lawyer who can work independently, follow structured playbooks, and operate effectively in a process-driven global environment.

How will you make an impact in this role

Your responsibilities will include:

Commercial Contract Support. Provide backfill support on general commercial and technology vendor contracts, using templates and established playbooks.

Risk & Deviation Management. Liaise with risk teams and prepare deviation approval tables to support contract negotiations and internal governance processes.

Vendor Contracting. Support global vendor agreements within a structured contracting framework.

Project Support. Assist the team during contract testing phases linked to a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool and AI review initiative.

Independent Workstream Management. Operate with minimal supervision while managing assigned matters efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications

4+ years PQE in commercial and/or technology transactions.

Strong experience reviewing and negotiating commercial vendor contracts.

Comfortable working from templates and established contracting playbooks.

Experience liaising with risk, procurement, or supply chain stakeholders.

Strong organisational skills and ability to manage volume in a structured environment.

Procurement experience would be a plus
