About Send
Send is building technology-driven platforms across business operations and food delivery.
SendOS is a unified, governed operating system integrated with an agentic system. It helps businesses connect their tools, manage work through one conversational layer, automate workflows, coordinate AI agents, improve reporting, and ensure work is carried out within company rules, permissions, and approval structures.
SendFood is a hawker-first, community-powered food delivery platform designed to support hawkers, improve food ordering convenience, and create a more community-based delivery experience.
About the Role
We are looking for a Commercial & Growth Manager to support the growth of both SendOS and SendFood through sales, business development, partnerships, customer and merchant acquisition, market research, and business requirement planning.
This is a hands-on role. The candidate will work closely with the Founder and coordinate with cross-functional teams, including product, technology, operations, and the Marketing & Communications Manager.
This role will not lead a team at the initial stage. The candidate should be comfortable approaching prospects, speaking with customers and merchants, gathering feedback, preparing business documents, and turning commercial opportunities into clear action plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Founder in developing and executing commercial and growth strategies for SendOS and SendFood.
- Identify target customers, merchants, partners, market opportunities, sales channels, and growth opportunities.
- Build and manage sales, merchant acquisition, and partnership pipelines.
- Approach potential customers, merchants, partners, and strategic accounts.
- Arrange and conduct meetings, product discussions, demos, and follow-ups.
- Communicate the value of SendOS and SendFood clearly to business owners, merchants, partners, and decision-makers.
- Source and develop partnerships that support customer acquisition, merchant growth, platform adoption, and business expansion.
- Work closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager on campaign direction, customer insights, positioning, messaging, lead generation support, and go-to-market activities.
- Coordinate with product, technology, operations, and marketing teams to support business growth and product development.
- Prepare BRDs, feature briefs, user flows, business cases, product improvement proposals, sales plans, market briefs, and commercial documents when required.
- Gather feedback from customers, merchants, users, partners, and internal teams to identify product gaps, user pain points, merchant needs, and commercial opportunities.
- Research competitors, market trends, customer behaviour, merchant needs, and business opportunities.
- Track leads, opportunities, follow-ups, feedback, sales progress, and conversion performance.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience in sales, business development, partnerships, commercial strategy, account management, SaaS, technology, digital solutions, platform business, food delivery, marketplace business, or business growth.
- Ability to identify prospects, approach customers, build relationships, follow up, and manage pipelines.
- Experience speaking with business owners, founders, senior managers, merchants, partners, or decision-makers.
- Ability to explain technology, AI, automation, food delivery, and platform concepts in simple business language.
- Good commercial judgement, including understanding of revenue, pricing, customer value, partnerships, and market growth.
- Ability to prepare clear BRDs, business proposals, feature briefs, sales plans, market briefs, and commercial documents.
- Strong coordination skills and ability to work with product, technology, operations, and marketing teams.
- Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive, organised, commercially minded, and comfortable working in an early-stage product environment.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is hands-on, commercially sharp, growth-minded, and comfortable working directly with the Founder.
The right candidate should be able to open doors, speak with customers and merchants, build partnerships, understand business needs, and turn market feedback into useful commercial and product requirements.
