Commercial Accounts Executive (Shipowner)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare invoices for Bareboat, Time, and Voyage Charters
• Track hire and freight payments with Finance
• Reconcile and settle hire statements and freight balances with owners/charterers
• Maintain hire records and support weekly/monthly P&L reporting
• Coordinate with agents on Port Disbursement Accounts (PDAs) and approve final PDAs
• Handle pre-funding and settlement of PDA payments
• Calculate and settle demurrage/despatch per charter terms

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Maritime, Shipping, Accounts, or related field
• 1-3 years in dry bulk shipping, chartering, or operations preferred
• Basic knowledge of charter parties and port procedures
• Proficient in Excel knowledge of IMOS/Danaos a plus
• Detail-oriented with strong numerical and communication skills
