Job Summary
Join Tembusu Financial Services as a Credit Control & Loan Collections Officer to manage customer account follow-ups and coordinate loan repayments efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Monitor loan repayment schedules and take action to ensure collections are made on time
- Contact customers through phone, email, or letters to follow up on overdue payments and secure repayments
- Process payments received via GIRO, bank transfers, cheques, or cash accurately and promptly
- Investigate overdue accounts to identify issues and propose suitable repayment plans to customers
- Collaborate with external partners to coordinate repossession, legal claims, or recovery actions when necessary
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all loan collections activities to ensure compliance with company policies
- Assist with other finance and administrative tasks as needed to support the team's operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in financial services or loan recovery roles
- Proficient in using MS Excel and basic office software to manage data and communications
- Possess GCE O Level, LCCI, or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrate strong follow-up skills by effectively managing customer communications to improve repayment rates
- Exhibit attention to detail when handling payment processing and record-keeping tasks
- Ability to work independently and maintain focus under pressure to meet deadlines
- Prior experience or exposure to auto-financing is advantageous
