CoC Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and update infrastructure solution architecture diagrams, Bills of Materials (BoM/LoS), cost models, and infrastructure interfaces.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure contributions to solution specifications, design documentation, Network Acceptance Test Procedures, and integration documents.
• Review solution specifications, design documents, acceptance procedures, and related documentation to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Design and define server, storage, virtualization, and infrastructure configurations for complex mission-critical systems.
• Configure, integrate, validate, test, and deploy server and storage infrastructure in factory and customer-site environments.
• Support infrastructure configuration changes, system integration, verification, and deployment activities.
• Provide technical expertise across compute, storage, virtualization, operating systems, backup/recovery, networking, and automation.
• Participate in customer design reviews and provide technical training and support.
• Identify infrastructure architecture risks and recommend validated alternative solutions and mitigation strategies.
• Develop infrastructure automation and standardisation initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Contribute to the adoption of modern infrastructure technologies including hybrid cloud, hyperconverged infrastructure, AI-driven monitoring, predictive analytics, and automation platforms.
• Collaborate with network, cybersecurity, and systems engineering teams to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions.
• Contribute to infrastructure cost modelling and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis for server, storage, and platform solutions.
• Promote Agile, Lean, continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and best practices across infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical guidance, progress updates, and leadership within multidisciplinary and multicultural project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience designing, delivering, and operating complex mission-critical server and storage infrastructure.
• Strong experience with server infrastructure, compute platforms, storage arrays, SAN/NAS, backup and recovery, and data centre infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/RHEL and Windows Server, including server hardening and administration.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox, or KVM.
• Experience with container platforms such as Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Strong infrastructure architecture and design experience covering physical and virtual servers, storage, data centre deployment, and infrastructure lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and infrastructure automation using tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD and automation scripting for infrastructure operations.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including switching and routing.
• Experience in hardware integration, validation, testing, and deployment within large and complex software-based systems.
• Experience working with both traditional and Agile/iterative project delivery methodologies.
• Knowledge of infrastructure cost modelling and TCO analysis is desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, problem-solving, and independent decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary, multicultural, and international environments.
• CCNA/CCNP certification is desirable.
• Experience with Air Traffic Management (ATM) systems is an advantage.
