Job Description
Candidate will be tasked to do the programming for various CNC machines. Company's main machines are laser, turret, aluminum extrusion machining, pressbrake and plasma cutting.
- Study and interpret engineering drawings, manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
- Ensure all CNC programming written is in accordance with production blueprints and quality standards.
- Continually maintain the CNC programming database.
- Troubleshoot and communicate effectively with operators who will use the programs.
- Consult with supervisors, engineers, production, quality control and other personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
Requirements
- Able to interpret sheet metal drawings like panels, claddings, louvers, windows etc.
- Experienced in doing flat pattern from the given drawings.
- Familiar with Autocad and CAD programs.
- Have experience in either 1 of the 5 CNC machines - laser, turret, pressbrake aluminum extrusion machining or plasma cut.
- Willing to undertake training to do programming for all CNC machines.
