CNC Programmer

Job Scope

• Develop and optimize CNC programs using G-code and CAM software.
• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T.
• Select cutting tools, fixtures, feeds, and speeds.
• Support machine setup, prove-out, and production runs.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and improve cycle times.
• Ensure parts meet quality, tolerance, and safety standards.
• Guide and support junior programmers and CNC operators.
• Maintain CNC programs and process documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of CNC programming experience.
• Strong knowledge of CNC milling and/or turning (multi-axis preferred).
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and CNC controls.
• Excellent understanding of materials, tooling, and machining processes.
• Ability to read and apply GD&T.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
