CNC PROGRAMMER

Requirements, Role and Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models
• Good proficiency in CNC/ CAD CAM Programming.
• Hands on experience in Mastercam
• Having similar experience in Precision parts programming
• Well versed in CADCAM, preferrence in Mastercam 2D and 3D programming
• Has experience in using DelCam
• Preferably CNC Milling/Turning Machine background
• Generate NC Programme and load the programme to designated machine
• Create geometry and check machining simulation
• Inputting the product design into the computer modeling software
• Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job
• Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications
• Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process
• Cleaning and maintaining the machine
• Good communication and coordination skills to liaise with relevant parties and resolve technical issues with end users.
• Majority part for semicon sector and quality and speed is the main target
• Candidates with relevant experience in precision engineering, metal fabrication and semi-con industry will be an advantageous
• Work according to production plan and maintain operational efficiency
• Carry out in process measurements and maintain product quality
• Maintain cleaniess in work stations
