CNC MACHINIST

Job Summary

Operate and set up CNC machines using Fanuc or Mazak controllers to produce precision parts. Perform machine zero-point setup, tool changes, and material setups to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines using Fanuc or Mazak controllers to produce parts according to specifications
• Interpret and apply G-Code and M-Code commands to control machine operations
• Perform machine zero-point setup to establish accurate reference points for machining
• Change and install tools in CNC machines to maintain production flow
• Set up materials on machines to prepare for manufacturing runs
• Apply manufacturing experience to troubleshoot and optimize machine performance

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the manufacturing industry
• Experience in extensive material setup to improve machine readiness and efficiency
