Job Summary
Operate and set up CNC machines using Fanuc or Mazak controllers to produce precision parts. Perform machine zero-point setup, tool changes, and material setups to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines using Fanuc or Mazak controllers to produce parts according to specifications
- Interpret and apply G-Code and M-Code commands to control machine operations
- Perform machine zero-point setup to establish accurate reference points for machining
- Change and install tools in CNC machines to maintain production flow
- Set up materials on machines to prepare for manufacturing runs
- Apply manufacturing experience to troubleshoot and optimize machine performance
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the manufacturing industry
- Experience in extensive material setup to improve machine readiness and efficiency
