Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented CNC Laser Cutting Machinist to operate and maintain laser cutting machines for sheet metal fabrication. The candidate will support daily production and ensure parts are produced according to specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate CNC laser cutting machines (fiber / CO₂)
- Perform machine setup, material loading, and job preparation
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and job orders
- Carry out cutting and nesting operations
- Monitor production and ensure quality control of finished parts
- Perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
- Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S standards
- Follow workplace safety procedures at all times

Requirements

- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in CNC or sheet metal fabrication
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Familiar with laser cutting machines and its software

- Basic CNC knowledge is an advantage
- Responsible, hardworking, and able to meet production deadlines

- Able to use SolidWorks to flatten sheetmetal and knowledge of structure welding will be an added advantage.

Working Environment

- Workshop / manufacturing environment
- Exposure to machinery, noise, and heat
- PPE required (safety shoes, gloves, etc.)
