About the Role
This role is a mid/senior-level position responsible for overseeing and managing media solutions and advertising sales for a specific sector/ industry within SPH Media. The Cluster Head is tasked with driving strategic growth of the sector they are responsible for. They provide guidance and support to a team of professionals working within the sector and collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, partners and internal departments. The Cluster Head is expected to possess strong industry knowledge, leadership skills, business acumen and the ability to analyze market dynamics.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, technology advancement and market conditions to identify potential risks and opportunities for the sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the sector, such as developing partnerships or exploring innovative product/ service offerings.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for the sector, aligning with the overall goals and objectives of SPH Media.
- Identify gaps and develop solutions for efficient and effective implementation of internal process and campaign performance metrics.
- Monitor and evaluate sector performance against established goals and KPIs.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including clients and industry partners.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to new members within the team
Who we are looking for
- A degree in Marketing or Business.
- 12 years of sales and marketing experience from the the media industry.
- Those with experience in managing clients from the Government Sectors will have an added advantage.
- At least 3 years of experience functioning at supervisory level.
- Effectively bilingual.
- Ability to conceptualise, strategise, present and execute creative ideas.
- Outgoing, resourceful and self-motivated.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
