Job Summary:
The Gymnastics Club Manager is responsible for the overall daily operations, administration, customer service, staff coordination, and business performance of the gymnastics club. This role ensures a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for members, students, parents, and staff while supporting the growth and success of the club.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management
- Oversee daily club operations and ensure smooth running of all programs.
- Manage class schedules, facility bookings, and staff rosters.
- Ensure gym equipment and facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Monitor compliance with safety standards and club policies.
2. Staff Management
- Supervise coaches, front desk staff, and support personnel.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate employees.
- Coordinate staff schedules and performance reviews.
- Foster a positive and professional team environment.
3. Customer Service & Membership
- Handle member inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Manage enrolments, renewals, attendance, and member records.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents.
- Ensure excellent customer experience and retention.
4. Financial & Administrative Duties
- Monitor budgets, revenue, expenses, and payroll coordination.
- Prepare reports on membership, attendance, and performance.
- Manage invoices, payments, and supplier coordination.
- Assist in achieving monthly sales and revenue targets.
5. Marketing & Growth
- Support promotions, events, competitions, and outreach programs.
- Manage social media or coordinate marketing campaigns.
- Develop strategies to grow membership and improve retention.
- Build partnerships with schools and community groups.
6. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and child protection policies.
- Maintain incident records and emergency procedures.
- Ensure all staff certifications are current where required.
Requirements:
- Experience in sports club, fitness centre, education centre, or gymnastics operations management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Good organizational and multitasking ability.
- Customer-service oriented mindset.
- Basic financial and administrative knowledge.
- Passion for sports, children's development, or gymnastics preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Sports Management, or related field.
- Experience in gymnastics, coaching, or sports club environment.
- First Aid / CPR certification is an advantage.
Working Hours:
- Includes evenings, weekends, and public holidays based on class schedules.
